Things you should know…
The hot tub is clothing-optional!
FYI, our standard advisement about our hot tub if people want to enjoy it:
We have a hot tub, and are happy to share a soak with our guests. For us, it’s a calming sanctuary and a mellow social engagement. We’d like each person to find their own version of temporary bliss if they choose to partake, and thus we take an old hippie approach to enjoyment: swimsuits are optional, and universal respect and body positivity are not optional.
We’re most at home in our skins, and so we opt out of swimsuits. Each person should do what is most comfortable for their self; there’s absolutely no pressure either way. Now you are advised.
← Butt.
Boundaries haven’t changed, though
If you’re new to social nudity, understand that it’s the same as normal hanging out, but without clothing. Boundaries are the same, and getting in someone’s personal space is the same: don’t do it without permission.
The hot tub isn’t very hot during the summer
We keep the tub at 96℉–98℉ during the summer. If you have hot tub experience, this will not seem very hot. During the winter, we’ll heat it to 99℉, which is warmer, but not too warm to enjoy for a good long soak.
Your mindfulness and restraint are appreciated
We like to have a good time relaxing in our hot tub. We’d like you to enjoy it too. That means keeping your wits about you, not becoming intoxicated enough to miss social cues, and maintaining a reasonable volume for relaxation. 420 friendly. ✌
Have an awesome time, and don’t hesitate to bring wine
We’re big fans of red wine and will gladly enjoy some if you bring it. Sometimes we have our own to share. No pressure or expectation at all, but if you really wanted to bring something, now you know! 🍷
